Tommy Ackerman, once again, infuriates his wife Grace by arriving late to a special family outing. In an attempt to make amends, Tommy promises Grace that he will do whatever she asks of him. Little does he know the consequences that await him. Grace requests a family trip to a beautiful church camp, which Tommy initially believes is not a bad idea. However, everything changes when they meet their neighboring campers, the Sanders family, particularly Eddie, the father. The Sanders family is completely different from the Ackerman family, as they embrace nature, freely express their love, and live in the moment. On the other hand, the Ackerman family is disconnected and prefers modern city life. When these two families come together, hilarity ensues, especially when Tommy and Eddie get lost in the forest and have to confront the wild. As they spend more time together, they experience a series of comedic incidents. Throughout the camp, the Ackerman and Sanders families learn to understand each other and face the challenges of nature together.
