My Dinner with Hervé, real-life events as inspiration, tells the unusual friendship between struggling journalist Danny Tate (Jamie Dornan) and Hervé Villechaize, the world-famous French dwarf actor who tragically took his own life at the age of 50, known for his Golden Globe-nominated role in the 1970s TV series "Fantasy Island". The two meet during a wild night in Los Angeles, and this encounter holds the potential to change their lives forever.
The HBO film, starring the talented actor Peter Dinklage, who recently won his third Emmy Award for his extraordinary performance in "Game of Thrones", features an ensemble cast including Jamie Dornan, star of the "Fifty Shades" series, Oscar and Golden Globe nominee Andy Garcia, familiar faces from "Game of Thrones" and "Taboo" such as Oona Chaplin, Mireille Enos, Helena Mattsson, and Harriet Walter.
