Billy Beane (Brad Pitt), the head of the baseball team 'Oakland A', challenges the wealthy clubs by creating a team out of nothing with a limited budget. In doing so, he completely shakes the fundamental beliefs of the sport. Despite his methods being unaccepted and even considered madness, Beane continues to move forward in the direction he knows, without losing his faith and determination.
Based on Michael Lewis's book "Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game," the film stars Brad Pitt, Robin Wright, and Jonah Hill. Directed by Bennett Miller, who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director in 2005 for his first film "Capote," "Moneyball" is his second feature film. The film received high praise and ratings from international critics since its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.
